Kane Brown has received a nomination at the upcoming MTV Video Music Awards for his “Worldwide Beautiful” video in the Video For Good category. The clip features his daughter, Kingsley, in her video debut.
The clip, which was filmed in Mt. Pleasant, TN, drives home the song's message of unity and equality, with Kane starring alongside children who play the lead roles. He tells us: “Filming the music video for “Worldwide Beautiful” was awesome… Especially getting to see the kids with all different ethnicities just playing together you know, and just loving one another. It was awesome. The city was cool with the flipped over cars, probably one of my favorite music videos that I ever got to shoot. You know, when I saw the outcome of it with the flowers growing and everything it was beautiful. It was overwhelming for me.”
The fan-voted MTV Video Music Awards are set for September 12th at at the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY. The show will be simulcast on CMT, Comedy Central, Logo, MTV2, Nickelodeon, Paramount Network, Pop, TV Land, VH1 and the CW beginning at 8 p.m. ET.
