Altamont, IL -(Effingham Radio)- The Board of Education of Altamont Community Unit School District #10 will hold a Special Meeting on Tuesday, June 30, 2020, starting at 6:00pm. The Meeting will be held in the Board of Education Office located at 7 South Ewing St., Altamont, Illinois, for the purpose of School Opening Procedures.
On the agenda:
- Review and Discuss the “Starting the 2020-2021 School Year – Part 3 – Transition Joint Guidance” document issued by the Illinois State Board of Education and the Illinois Department of Public Health on June 23
- Hear progress reports on planning for the start of the 2020-2021 school year
- The appointment, employment, compensation, discipline, performance, or dismissal of specific employees, specific individuals who serve as independent contractors, or specific volunteers of the District or legal counsel for the District, including hearing testimony on a complaint lodged against an employee, a specific individual who serves as an independent contractor, or a volunteer of the District or against legal counsel for the District to determine its validity.
