Peoria, IL -(Effingham Radio)- Peoria is experiencing a wave of crimes that police believe are connected.
Police responded last night to multiple reports of break-ins, fires, and shootings.
Illinois State Police reported a line of 150 cars at one point driving recklessly through the city.
Police also responded to looting at two different beauty supply stores, vandalism at a Target, and multiple fires.
Other related incidents include a break-in at a Verizon store and reports of shots fired at Sheridan and Columbia Terrace.
