Moline, IL -(Effingham Radio)- The first 25-thousand face shields that John Deere makes at its Moline plant will go to Deere workers and healthcare workers here in the Quad Cities.
The company yesterday said it is switching production lines at its seeding plant to make the shields. Deere says the plan is to make another 200-thousand shields immediately, with an eye toward making more if they are needed.
