Effingham County, IL -(Effingham Radio)- One person is dead and two are injured following a head-on collision in Effingham County.
The crash happened Saturday morning on the overpass, over I-70, just south of Route 40.
Police say a northbound SUV crossed into the southbound lane and collided head on with a pickup.
The SUV driver was killed and his passenger was injured.
The pickup driver was taken to the hospital and later transferred for further treatment.
Police are investigating the crash.
