
Effingham, IL -(Effingham Radio)- Subway® restaurants came together, to help raise funds and awareness for Children’s Miracle Network and St John’s Hospital during the month of October.
Throughout the month of October, Subway® restaurants across Champaign, Springfield, Decatur, Ill. and surrounding areas encouraged customers to donate $1 or more at the register for Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, HSHS St. John Children’s Hospital in Springfield, Ill. The initiative raised a total of $9,800! This donation goes toward funding things such as support for the Child Life Program and Get
Well Network, providing books, hosting end of chemotherapy parties, providing life- saving equipment, distributing distraction items, celebrating patient birthday parties in the hospital and more.
Children’s Miracle Network Hospital, HSHS St. John’s Children’s Hospital located in Springfield, Illinois, serves over 50,000 children a year. 100% of all donations fundraised by Subway® restaurants during the month of October ($9,800) will go right back to HSHS St. John’s Children’s Hospital.
