Springfield, IL -(Effingham Radio)- Governor J.B. Pritzker’s administration is refusing to sell state-owned land for a race track-casino.
The administration announced yesterday that it wouldn’t sell the site of the former Tinley Park Mental Health Center because one of the project’s partners appeared in a search warrant for the office of a state senator facing federal scrutiny.
The same partner was also linked in published reports to a banking family with alleged mob ties.
