Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Effingham County Chamber of Commerce has announced that it will be visiting Scotland and Northern Ireland in August 2020.
An informational meeting about the trip will be held Tuesday, August 20 at 5:30 p.m. at the Effingham Performance Center Donor Lounge.
Highlights of 12 day trip include the Edinburgh Military Tattoo, a colorful blend of Scottish pipe and drum bands, highland dancers and performers from across the world set against the backdrop of Edinburgh Castle; Rosslyn Chapel (made famous in The DaVinci Code), St. Andrews, Isle of Skye, Glasgow and Belfast.
By attending the informational meeting, travelers can take an extra $50 off the tour price.
