Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Effingham County Economic Advisory Board met on Tuesday and went over remaining funds in the Revolving Loan Fund, as well as updates on some applications.
Courtney Yockey was in attendance, stating that job retention is going well. Dave Campbell also updated that there is about $14,300 left in the fund, and they are still waiting on this year’s disbursement from the USDA. Until they release money for this year, the fund is in a “wait and see” period.
There was lots of discussion about approving money for BodyWorx Massage Health & Wellness, since the money for this year has not come in yet. The main discussion was about helping them with renovations and the purchase of a camper. A motion to approve $12k in funding was approved after discussion.
BodyWorex Massage Health & Wellness will have a grand opening on Friday.
