Washington, DC-(Effingham Radio)- NASA has announced major changes to its return to the moon program. The agency said there will be a “course correction” to the Artemis program that adds missions and will increase the pace of launches as they now aim to land on the moon in 2028.
Administrator Jared Isaacman said the mission that was meant to land astronauts on the moon will now shift to conducting technology demonstrations by the middle of next year in low-Earth orbit. That will come before launching Artemis IV, which will attempt a moon landing.
