Teutopolis, IL-(Effingham Radio)- At the latest Teutopolis Unit 50 Board of Education meeting on February 9, members approved the Treasurer’s Report and payment of bills without objection. The consent agenda passed, granting approval to last month’s meeting minutes, field trips for the high school’s robotics team, student council, and seniors, and amending the 2025-26 calendar after using two snow days. New agreements for alternate education services with Regional Office of Education #3 were also approved for the coming year. Key reports from principals, activities directors, and the superintendent addressed upcoming graduation and promotion dates, ongoing district communications initiatives, and the annual 5 Essentials Survey open through March 13.
On personnel matters, resignations were accepted from three staff members, while Melissa Habing was appointed as the boys’ tennis coach. Additionally, two staff reassignments were approved, pending verification.
The Board will reconvene March 9.
