Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Schultz Country Market is a family-owned business operated by Nola and Brian Schultz, along with their son Austin and his wife Mikaela, representing fourth- and fifth-generation farmers.
After more than 34 years of selling beef and pork in whole, half, and quarter animals, the family expanded in response to customer demand for individual cuts. The retail storefront opened in September 2023.
The market offers a variety of beef and pork cuts, farm-fresh eggs, and products from local vendors. Schultz Country Market also participates in the Effingham Farmers Market May–October and is working toward future shipping options.
Winter storefront hours are Thursday and Friday from 10:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. and Saturday from 8:00 a.m. to noon. More information is available at www.schultzcountrymarket.com.
