Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Ford is recalling nearly 120-thousand vehicles because of an issue with the engine block heater that could cause a fire. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says the recall covers some 2019 and 2024 Explorers, the 2016-2018 Ford Focus, 2013-2019 Ford Escapes, 2015 and 2016 Lincoln MKCs with 2.0 liter engines.
Owners can see if their vehicle is included by entering their VIN number on the agency’s website, nhtsa.gov.
