Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The weekend snowfall totals keep changing, and not in a good way.
Accumulating snow is likely this weekend. Snow will occur in two waves, with the first occurring Saturday and the second occurring Sunday, with a lull for parts of Saturday night.
Bitter, Arctic air will dominate the region for the next several days, with wind chills dropping well below zero at times.
Multiple winter-related hazards are in effect. This includes a Cold Weather Advisory into midday Saturday, then a Winter Storm Warning from Saturday morning through Sunday evening.
