Edwardsville, IL-(Effingham Radio)- State Senator Jason Plummer (R-Edwardsville) is encouraging residents across the district to help spread love and kindness this Valentine’s Day by participating in his Valentine’s for Seniors Card Drive.
The annual initiative invites individuals, families, classrooms, churches, and community organizations to create Valentine’s Day cards that will be delivered to seniors living in nursing homes and assisted living facilities throughout the 55th Senate district.
“This drive is a simple way to let seniors know they are connected to their community,” said Senator Plummer. “A card may seem small, but it can make a real difference and really brighten someone’s day.”
Valentine’s Day cards may be dropped off in person at Senator Plummer’s district office by February 6, 2026:
- Vandalia District Office
- 310 West Gallatin Street
- Vandalia, IL 62471
Drop-off hours are 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., Monday through Friday.
