Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Effingham County Transportation Committee met on Wednesday and heard updates from Effingham County Public Transportation (ECPT), E-Trax, CSS, and PCOM.
ECPT is still looking for more full-time drivers, E-Trax reported their number of riders are up slightly from last month, and the report on the Maintenance Facility stated that it is still in the review process. Pete Niccum with CSS said they put on about 6k miles this month with their 3 busses.
The Committee also announced that the Committee will be merging with Building and Grounds, becoming the new “Transportation and Infrastructure” Committee starting next year.
