Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Toyota is recalling nearly 130-thousand pickup trucks and SUVs over possible vehicle engine issues that could increase the risk of crash.
The recall includes 2022 to 2024 Toyota Tundra pickup trucks, 2022 to 2024 Lexus LX SUVs and 2024 Lexus GX SUVs with V35A engines. Lexus is a luxury brand owned by Toyota. The company said machining debris leftover from the production process could cause the engine to run rough or stall and can increase the risk of a crash.
The recall notice said Toyota is working on a fix and will advise owners on details about free repairs.
