Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Regional Office of Education #3 (ROE3) proudly announces that Aspire High School and TriStar Academy have received two crucial grants. This funding will significantly enhance student opportunities by integrating visual arts, emotional regulation, and youth leadership development into their educational experience.
Grants Awarded
ROE3 Aspire and TriStar received support from two dedicated community partners:
- The Bill and Jacquelyn Jordan Anderson Fund for Visual Arts: This funding will provide essential art supplies to allow students to explore and refine their artistic abilities. This initiative emphasizes using art as a constructive outlet for emotional regulation and strengthening peer connections.
- The 2025 Siemer Milling Company Fund for Youth Leadership Development: This grant will empower young leaders by supplying practical tools. It ensures the Life and Leadership call gains new technology to be involved with multimedia projects, and provides the Life Skills class with Neurologic workbooks to build resilience, manage stress, and develop core leadership skills.
Commitment to Holistic Student Growth
These grants represent a significant step forward in ROE3 Aspire and TriStar’s mission to support the holistic development of students.
“We are deeply grateful for the commitment of these partners. This combined support allows us to empower our students with tools for both creative expression and critical self-management, ensuring they have the confidence and resilience to succeed both inside and outside the classroom,” said Amber Kidd, Principal at ROE3 Aspire and TriStar.
