Washington, DC-(Effingham Radio)- The Trump administration will fully fund SNAP benefits for November. The USDA announced Friday it is complying with a federal court order to fund the food stamp program. The agency said the process should be done by the end of the day.
SNAP benefits have been put on hold during the government shutdown with nearly 42-million Americans relying on the food assistance. Thursday, a federal judge ordered the White House to pay out the benefits by Friday saying “people have gone without for too long.”
