Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- An additional company is recalling its frozen shrimp due to possible exposure to radiation levels.
According to a news release issued by the FDA, the shrimp may have been exposed to “very low levels” of cesium-137. Products included in the most recent shrimp recall were sold under brand names AquaStar, Publix, Best Yet and Waterfront Bistro.
The FDA said no illnesses have been reported, but customers who have bought the affected shrimp should either throw it away or return it to the store where it was purchased.
