Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Crisis Nursery of Effingham County is proud to announce its 4th annual Community Investor Breakfast, Lend A Hand Breakfast, taking place on Wednesday, October 15, 2024, at the Holiday Inn in Effingham. The event begins at 7:30 AM and is free and open to the public.
This breakfast invites community members, businesses, and organizations to learn more about Crisis Nursery’s mission to prevent child abuse and neglect by keeping children safe and families strong. Attendees will enjoy a complimentary breakfast and hear presentations from:
- Meghan Rewers, Executive Director of Crisis Nursery
- Kayla Schumacher, Assistant Director
- Dr. Jeremy Jewell, Professor at Southern Illinois University Edwardsville (SIUE), who will speak on the measurable impact of Crisis Nursery’s services in our area.
The program will highlight the Nursery’s impact, reach, and future potential, and demonstrate how Community Investors play a vital role in sustaining these essential services.
