Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The City of Effingham has appointed Christopher Ervin as the City’s Building Official. Ervin was appointed by Mayor Mike Schutzbach, and confirmed by the City Council, during the Council meeting of September 16.
Ervin will receive the Oath of Office from City Clerk Abbey Nosbisch on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at 10:00 a.m. The ceremony will be conducted in the Council Chamber at City Hall. The public is invited to attend.
