EFFINGHAM COUNTY JAIL

September 20, 2025

  • Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 50 year old Heather M. Lindemann of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for meth trafficking and resisting a police officer. Heather was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
  • Effingham City Police arrested 55 year old Timothy A. Jones of Effingham for a Champaign County FTA warrant for DUI alcohol and a McClean County FTA warrant for a traffic offense. Timothy was given an NTA and was released.
  • Effingham City Police arrested 26 year old Jonathan A. Macias of Effingham for aggravated battery. Jonathan was given an NTA and was released.
  • Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40 year old Jesse D. Blain of Effingham for an Effingham County mittimus to jail for possession of <5g of meth. Jesse was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
  • Illinois State Police arrested 60 year old Adolfo Juarez Barrientos of Chicago for DUI alcohol, speeding 21-25mph over limit, improper lane usage, and illegal transportation of alcohol by driver. Adolfo was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

September 22, 2025

  • Illinois State Police arrested 31 year old Joel C. Borders of Bridgeton, MO for a Fayette County FTA warrant for speeding 26-34mph over limit. Joel posted bond and was released.
  • Effingham City Police arrested 33 year old Alexander J. Garrard of Effingham for an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of <5g of meth, possession of <5g of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and obstructing identification. Alexander was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
  • Effingham City Police arrested 29 year old Adalberto T. Chipol of Effingham for speeding, improper lane usage, illegal transportation of alcohol, no valid Driver’s License, operating an uninsured vehicle, aggravated DUI, and endangering the life of a child. Adalberto was given an NTA and was released.
