Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The City of Effingham will be flushing hydrants on the south side of Fayette Avenue starting on Monday, September 22nd, weather permitting. This follows the flushing of hydrants on North Fayette.
Water may be discolored due to the flushing of hydrants. The City recommends you check the water before using it, and please flush your faucets until you see no discoloration or sedimentation.
