Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Effingham County Health & Insurance Committee met Tuesday and discussed some renewals of insurance and leftover opioid funding.
The Committee reported that there is over $87k left in the opioid fund still to use. Members said that the Health Department may have use for the funds. They will check with the Health Department to see how best to use the remaining funds.
The Committee also approved the following for the full County Board to consider:
- Renewal of Employee Voluntary Vision. Life, Accidental, and Critical Illness Insurance Coverage (no changes)
- Renewal of Employee Dental Coverage (3% increase through 2027)
- HopeTrust Renewal
