Decatur, IL-(Effingham Radio)- A three-year-old child is dead following a fire in Decatur.
Fire officials say crews responded to the blaze Saturday night at a home in the 600 block of South Jackson Street. Firefighters located the child inside the property. The victim died later at the hospital.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
