Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Hand soap sold nationwide is being recalled due to dangerous bacterial contamination. According to the company, soap products from DermaRite Industries were found to contain a bacterium that could lead to “serious and life-threatening infections.”
The recall includes DermaKlee, DermaSarra, KleenFoam and PeriGene soaps. DermaRite has not received reports of anyone getting sick from the products at this time, and the CDC advises that symptoms can include fever, fatigue and possible respiratory infections.
