(ROTARY DISTRICT 6060 GOVERNOR RALPH ZUKE AND EFFINGHAM NOON ROTARY CLUB PRESIDENT MIKE KIRCHHOFF)
Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- At their July 30 session, Effingham Noon Rotary Club members explored innovative club models with insights from Ralph Zuke, District Governor of Rotary District 6060 in St. Louis.
Zuke introduced attendees to the concept of “companion clubs.” These allow new Rotary groups to remain linked to established clubs while operating independently.
Companion clubs are free to choose their meeting times, locations, and unique formats. This approach offers flexibility for members, fosters new connections, and encourages growth. The original club also gains, as any membership increase from the companion club contributes to its own growth statistics, enhancing Rotary’s presence in the community.
