Altamont, IL-(Effingham Radio)- More winners from the Effingham County Fair have been announced.

Senior Division winners (shown above) Alex Gordon, Cooper McManaway, Lance Apke, Eric Weidner, Hayden Wendling, and Adam Stuckemeyer at the 2025 Effingham County Master Showmanship contest.
Lance Apke is headed to the 2025 Illinois State Fair Master Showmanship Contest in Springfield!
Lance blew the judges away at the county level with his incredible showmanship in beef, swine, AND sheep, earning him the top spot and a chance to compete against the best of the best in Illinois on Friday, August 8!
2025 Effingham County 4-H Grand Champion Carcass went to Hunter Niemerg and Reserve Champion Carcass Norah Wente.
Kayden Hetzer and Luke Wente were selected to receive the 2025 Reiss Scholarship.
Alexis VanDyke was selected to receive the 2025 Jeff Brooks Award.
Trish Purcell was inducted into the Illinois 4-H Hall of Fame.
