Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The extreme heat continues today, but cooler temperatures are on the way.
Hot and humid conditions will be replaced by cooler temperatures for the end of the week into the weekend. Daily storm chances will be seen through Thursday, including the threat for a few strong to severe storms.
A Heat Advisory has been issued for our area from noon to 8pm. Please take frequent breaks and stay hydrated if you need to be outside in the heat today.
