Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Beginning Monday, July 21st, East Temple Avenue will close from North Willow Street to North Ealy Street for road re-pavement work.
Crews start milling on Monday, with paving scheduled for Thursday and Friday. The closure will be in effect each day from 6AM to 5PM, running through Friday, July 25th. Side roads on the north side of Temple Avenue will also be closed or impacted throughout the week.
Re-pavement on Circle Drive Will also occur during this time frame.
4th Street and Evergreen intersection will also be closed to southbound traffic starting 6AM on July 21st, and continuing through 4PM on August 4th. While north-south access is restricted, drivers can still travel east and west through the intersection as usual.
