Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Traffic cones line East Jaycee Avenue this morning as crews begin work on a new infrastructure project. The stretch from Sugar Mill Court to South Veterans Drive is closed to traffic starting today, July 16th, and will remain inaccessible through Friday, July 18th, until 4:30PM.
Motorists are encouraged to seek alternate routes during this period. Additional closures on Jaycee Avenue are planned and will be announced soon. For details, residents may contact the City at 217-342-2366.
