Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Ritz Cracker sandwiches are being recalled nationwide over a labeling error.
Mondelez Global LLC issued the voluntarily recall as some packs of the Ritz sandwiches are labeled as having a cheese filling when they instead contain peanut butter filling. The recall alert explains that the outer cartons are labeled correctly and contain an allergen warning while the individually wrapped packs may not carry that information. According to Mondelez, there had been no reports of severe reactions.
