Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The City of Effingham has announced the following road closures:
- S Oak St. will be closed from W. Jefferson Ave. to W. Fayette Ave. 6/16/25@ 7AM to 6/27/25 @4PM.

- -Oak St. will be closed to through local traffic only from Jefferson Ave. south to Fayette. There will be work also on the north side of the intersection but Jefferson will be open to through local traffic only.

2) S Cherry St. will be closed from W. Jefferson Ave. to W. Shelby Ave 6/16/25 @7AM to 6/27/25 @ 4PM.

- -Cherry St. will be closed to all traffic from Jefferson Ave. south to Shelby Ave. Jefferson Ave will be open to through local traffic only.

3) Intersection of W. St. Louis Ave. and N. Main St. 6/16/25 @ 7AM to 6/20/25 @ 4PM

- -Intersection will be closed through to local traffic only. Access to W. St. Louis Ave west of Main St. must be from the SOUTH on Main St.
