Tax & Finance Committee Approves Contributions To Summer Festivals

Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Tax & Finance Committee met Thursday and approved 3 contributions to festivals and fireworks shows set to happen this summer.

Those contributions include:

$2750 to Lake Sara Fireworks (July 3rd, rain date July 5th)
$1500 to Dieterich 4th of July Celebration
$750 to VW FunFest

Courtney Yockey also spoke to the committee reminding that the Map for Montrose meeting will be June 7th, and the public is welcome to attend and give input.
