South Central FFA Attends State Envirothon CDE

Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Monday, May 5, the South Central FFA attended State Envirothon CDE at the Monticello at the State 4-H camp. The Envirothon is a hands-on environmental problem-solving competition in the fields of soils, wildlife, forestry, aquatics, and the 5th area was “Roots and Resiliency: Fostering Forest Stewardship in a Canopy of Change”.

The team placed 6th in the state and 1st in their forestry division. The South Central FFA members in attendance were Wyatt Iler, Colt King, Eli Hiestand, and Aaron Schoenfeder.
