
Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Delaine Donaldson of the Effingham County Cultural Center & Museum stopped by the studio to explain the history of the Spanish-American War, and how local volunteers helped in the war effort, however brief. The war didn’t last but a few weeks, but the lasting impression from the war showed how the nation had healed after the Civil War.
