Sigel Fire Department was paged to a structure fire at 16:49 on 2/13/25.
Crews arrived on scene to find a barn with bales inside that was fully engulfed and the call was upgraded to a full still. Firefighting operations began immediately to extinguish the blaze, and a rural water shuttle was established to provide water to the scene.
Mutual aid was provided on scene by Neoga, Teutopolis, and Shumway Fire Departments. Station coverage was provided by Montrose, Dieterich, and Greenup Fire Departments.
All units cleared scene at approximately 21:00.
