February 8, 2025

  • Effingham City Police arrested 29 year old Kendra K. Jones of Altamont for a Coles County FTA warrant for possession  of <5g of meth. Kendra was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
  • Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 39 year old Cody J. Sapp of Altamont for an Effingham County FTA warrant for domestic battery/physical contact. Cody was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
  • Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40 year old Timothy L. Myer of Greenup for an Effingham County FTA warrant for theft <$300, a Cumberland County FTA warrant for aggravated domestic battery, and a Fayette County FTA warrant for criminal trespass. Timothy was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
  • Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41 year old Vimount A. Hughes, Jr. of Decatur for an Effingham County FTA warrant for driving while license suspended. Vimount was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

February 9, 2025

  • Illinois State Police arrested 56 year old Robert T. Koelz of Effingham for DUI. Robert was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
  • Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 40 year old Brandy M. Tidwell of Vandalia for an Effingham County FTA warrant for theft <$500. Brandy was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

February 10, 2025

  • Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 49 year old Heather R. Miller of Mason for an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of <5g of meth. Heather was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
  • Effingham City Police arrested 42 year old Eric M. Hunter of Hartford, KY for DUI. Eric was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
  • Effingham City Police arrested 43 year old Brandon S. Cook of Effingham for possession of 5-15g of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and domestic battery. Brandon was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
  • Effingham City Police arrested 48 year old Torrey E. Jacobs of Effingham for DUI. Torrey was given an NTA and was released.
