Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- On Monday, September 2nd the South Central FFA hosted its amazing annual Labor Day Car Show at Kinmundy Park. We had a whopping 127 entries, one of the biggest years by far!

The event had participants from over three states: Kentucky, Missouri, Illinois, and Indiana; each car having its own unique story with the owner. There were Cars ranging from as old as 93 years old to as new as 9 years old, what a range! Some of the winners Include Best Ford (66 & Newer) Gory Kolenberger, Best Chevy (65 & Older) Josh Dunahee, Best of the Rest (66 & newer Kent Buckles, Best Mopar (65 & Newer) Robert Barneck, Best Mopar (66 & Newer) Sue Fritzsche, Longest distance traveled, Steve and Rhonda Lucas from Kentucky, Best of Show David Martin, and more!

After the car show, there was a long but joyful parade that many had participated in, including the South Central FFA. We are grateful to all that supported this event in any way and look forward to hosting this event again next year.
