June 15, 2024
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 42 year old Amanda J. Hilton of Lovington for an Effingham County FTA warrant for possession of <5g of meth and a Douglas County FTA warrant. Amanda was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 34 year old Mindy L. Pinkerton of Yale for criminal trespass to real property and obstructing justice. Mindy was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 45 year old Jeremy D. Pontious of Effingham for an Effingham County original warrant for aggravated assault with a deadly weapon. Jeremy was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 54 year old Kenneth L. Forbes of Brownstown for possession of <5g of meth, possession of drug paraphernalia, and possession of an open title. Kenneth was given a pretrial NTA and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 39 year old Kevin P. Wholeben of Effingham for DUI alcohol, speeding 74 in a 55mph zone, and failure to signal when required. Kevin was given a pretrial NTA and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 59 year old Stephen S. Davis of Effingham for DUI alcohol. Stephen was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
June 16, 2024
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 36 year old Natasha J. Lee of Moweaqua for possession of <5g of meth, resisting/obstructing a police officer, possession of a hypodermic syringe, and a Shelby County FTA warrant for amphetamines. Natasha was transported to the Shelby County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 32 year old James W. S. Steuernagel of Altamont for a Clark County FTA warrant for theft. James was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 41 year old Leda J. Baker of Shumway for DUI alcohol. Leda was given a pretrial NTA and was released.
- Effingham City Police arrested 29 year old Isidor Ixtepan of Effingham for aggravated domestic battery and interfering with a domestic violence report. Isidor was taken to the Effingham County Jail.

- Effingham City Police arrested 27 year old Dylan R. Rentfro of Effingham for residential burglary, aggravated battery to a police officer, resisting or obstructing a police officer, possession of a hypodermic needle, and possession of <5g of meth. Dylan was given a pretrial NTA and was released.
- Altamont Police Department arrested 53 year old Gary J. Reeder of St. Elmo for driving while license revoked. Gary was given a pretrial NTA and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 20 year old Angel Perozo Inbett of Effingham for no Driver’s License. Angel was given a pretrial NTA and was released.
- Effingham County Sheriff’s Office arrested 34 year old Mindy L. Pinkerton of Yale for an IDOC parole violation warrant. Mindy was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 20 year old Jaden C. Rowlands of Beecher city for criminal damage to property, DUI alcohol, criminal damage to government supported property, and reckless driving. Jaden was taken to the Effingham County Jail.
- Effingham City Police arrested 37 year old Jermain Rafael Duarte Masestre of Effingham for no valid Driver’s License, driving an uninsured vehicle, improper lane usage, disobeying a stop sign, failure to signal, and unlawful possession of registration. Jermain was given a pretrial NTA and was released.
