Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Mediacom Communications recognized two local employees who achieved the company’s top performance rankings and earned national and regional awards for outstanding customer and broadband services.
This month, an award ceremony was held with corporate executives, where the Effingham-based individuals were recognized for their high performance in 2023.
Jacquelyn Dixon earned the highest marks in service performance over the past year, resulting in a regional-level award for excellence in customer service. The Effingham resident has been employed by Mediacom for six years.
Eric Watts has been a Mediacom employee for seven years and received the “People’s Choice Award” at the recent ceremony. The Cowden resident is a senior-level broadband specialist and was one of 40 employees nationwide to earn a system-level award for exemplary service in 2023.
Companywide, Mediacom employs 4,000 people, and the award recipients were among 195 employees recognized for performance achievements over the past year. Award recipients receive a monetary bonus and other employee recognition.
