On November 3rd at around 10:52pm, deputies with the Jasper County Sheriff’s Office responded to a single vehicle rollover accident on County Road 900 East, just south of County Road 700 North in rural Jasper County. When deputies arrived on scene, they found the driver trapped in the vehicle and unresponsive.
Members of the Wade Community Fire Department, Jasper County Ambulance Service, and deputies worked to free the driver from the vehicle. The driver, later identified as 24 year old Landon K. Tracy of Robinson, was pronounced deceased at the scene. A passenger, 23 year old David D. Goff of Robinson, was transported to St. Anthony’s Memorial Hospital in Effingham with non-life threatening injuries.
