Strasburg, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Start your day with an “all you can eat” pancake and smoked sausage breakfast at the 16th annual Santa Brigade Breakfast & Market on Saturday, November 11, to be held at St. Paul’s Lutheran Church at 511 S Walnut in Strasburg. The breakfast is from 6-10:30 a.m. and extra sausage will be available for purchase by the pound all morning or until sold out. Special Christmas music will be provided during breakfast by the trombone trio of Dr. Ian Kinkley, Stephanie Kinkley and Dennis Lading.
The event, hosted by Strasburg Community Action Network (SCAN) will also include a Christmas Market in the school gymnasium from 7-11 a.m. Come and support the local small business owners who will help you find one-of-a-kind handcrafted gifts. Items you will find include – handmade crafts, poinsettias to order, local honey, pecans, stained glass ornaments, Christmas arrangements and tabletop trees, felted angels, crocheted gnomes, SmartLab toys, jeweled Christmas trees, candy, Strasburg 150th ornaments, t-shirts and souvenirs, Rada cutlery, earrings, custom-made tumblers, noodles, PTSA bake sale, Usborne Books, puzzles, Tupperware and much more!
A free will donation will be taken for the breakfast. Proceeds from the breakfast will be used for park and village improvements for the 150th celebration next year.
