
Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- HSHS Medical Group is pleased to welcome Ruben Boyajian, MD, FACS, to our medical team. Specializing in general surgery and specialized breast care, Dr. Boyajian is now scheduling patients at HSHS Medical Group Multispecialty Care – Effingham. Dr. Boyajian will continue to practice at 900 W. Temple Ave., Building B, Suite 2500 in Effingham.
As a general surgeon, Dr. Boyajian specializes in breast care, surgical oncology, general and laparoscopic surgery and gastrointestinal endoscopy.
Dr. Boyajian earned his medical degree from and served on the faculty of medicine at University of the Republic of Uruguay. He completed a general surgery residency at Yale University Affiliated Hospital in New Haven, Connecticut. Dr. Boyajian also served in the United States Air Force.
