Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Visit Effingham will be hosting the Corvette Welcomefest Downtown Party from 5 to 7:30 p.m. on Friday, September 15th, and you’re invited to enjoy an evening of classic cars!
Corvettes will parade down Jefferson Avenue at approximately 5:30 p.m. to join the party, parking in the spaces surrounding the Historic Effingham County Courthouse Museum and bringing the Mid America Motorworks: Corvette Fun Run Road Tour to a close. We encourage residents to come downtown, Friday night, and watch the Corvettes roll in!
Friday night, enjoy delicious festival fare from La Luna and Pauly’s BBQ and tasty treats from Toppins Soft Serve, along with live musical entertainment from “Not Petty,” America’s favorite Tom Petty tribute duo.
While you’re downtown, stop by Visit Effingham’s tent to enter to win fun giveaways, pick up free souvenirs and information and – of course – be sure to check out the wide variety of Corvettes parked along the square!
