Altamont Fire Department Responds To Structure Fire On South Main Street Monday

Altamont, IL-(Effingham Radio)- Altamont Fire Department responded to a fire on South Main Street on Monday.

Fire Chief Jon Becker posted the following information about the fire:

“Definite structure fire. Full still brought in St. Elmo, Shumway, Brownstown. Occupants escaped with 2 dogs. 1 cat & snake rescued. 1 cat recovered deceased.”
