Champaign, IL-(Effingham Radio)-Illinois football is adding a former rival to their coaching staff.
Jim Leonhard was named Senior Football Analyst for the program.
Leonhard joins the Illini from Wisconsin, where he spent the last seven seasons on staff.
That included serving as interim head coach for seven games in 2022.
He started his coaching career at Wisconsin in 2016 after a 10-year NFL career.
