Charleston, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The following was posted on the Charleston Illinois Police Department’s Facebook Page:
The City has scheduled a curbside collection of tree limbs and branches from the recent storm beginning Thursday, July 6th.
We are asking that all limbs and branches needing picked up be placed on the City boulevard by 7 am on Thursday, July 6th if possible.
The Public Works Department will make passes through the City to collect limbs and branches. The limbs and branches will be taken to the City’s Landscape Waste Facility and ground into mulch.
The City’s facility is located on West Madison Avenue and is open daily for those residents who wish to dispose of their limbs and branches themselves.
