Effingham, IL-(Effingham Radio)- The Effingham Water Department has lifted the boil order for the businesses listed below along Fayette Avenue as of 10:45am June 20.

The City of Effingham Water department has issued a boil order for the following places, all on Fayette Avenue:
- 1501 West Fayette (Effingham Event Center)
- 1510 West Fayette (Culver’s)
- 1604 West Fayette (Holiday Inn)
- 1606 West Fayette (Ramada)
This is due to the road construction on Fayette Avenue. Once water service is restored, this boil order will go into effect until further notice. As a result of this, Culver’s will not be opening today until after 2pm.
